Privacy policy
MobileCheck (mobilefriendlycheck.com) is designed to collect as little as possible. Here is everything we store and why. Questions or requests about your data: admin@mobilefriendlycheck.com.
Checks and reports
- When you run a check we store the address you entered, the screenshots and the report.
- Reports are reachable only through their long random link, are marked "noindex" for search engines, and are deleted automatically after 24 hours. The person who ran a check can delete it earlier.
- Please don't submit addresses containing passwords, tokens or other secrets.
The line
There is no daily limit; to keep the line fair, each visitor can have one check in it at a time. To know which check is yours and to stop abuse, we keep a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address — never the address itself — that changes every day and is discarded when the day ends. Aggregate daily counters (for example, "120 checks today") contain no personal data.
Human verification
Instead of a third-party captcha, your browser solves a small computing puzzle. No data is sent to anyone else.
Cookies and tracking
The checking tool itself uses no cookies and no analytics. Your browser's local storage keeps your theme choice, your device choice and the list of reports you ran, and never leaves your device.
Advertising
To keep MobileCheck free, some pages show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads and measure them, based on your visits to this and other websites. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice at any time from the privacy message link. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and turn off personalised ads in Google's ad settings.
Ads are never shown inside reports' screenshots, and the sites you check are not shared with advertisers.
Server logs
We don't keep access logs. Application logs record only technical events (for example "check finished in 20 s") and never contain IP addresses.
The sites you check
Our test browser visits the page you enter like a single visitor would, once per selected device. It does not log in, submit forms or download files.
The browser extension
The MobileCheck Chrome extension has its own privacy policy: it sends nothing to us.
Your rights
Because we don't keep accounts or IP addresses, there is usually nothing we can link to you. If you think we hold data about you, write to admin@mobilefriendlycheck.com and we will tell you, correct it or delete it.
